eLearning Companies

Manage a growing course catalog across client LMSs, with central updates, licensing, and reporting that reduce repeated delivery work.

Creating a course is only part of running an eLearning business. You also have to deliver it, keep it accurate, support it in different LMSs, and understand whether customers are using it. As your catalog grows, that continuing work can take up a large share of a small team’s time.

Scoblade provides one library for your published SCORM courses, with version management, client access, licensing, and reporting. Customers import small launchers into their own LMSs, while you manage the hosted courses centrally.

Make course maintenance part of the normal workflow

Compliance and professional training need regular attention. Procedures change, assessment questions need clarification, and learners find errors. When every customer hosts a separate course copy, publishing a correction starts a second job: getting all those copies replaced.

Scoblade lets you upload an updated build to the existing course, preview it, and activate it when approved. Routine content changes reach clients through their existing launchers. You retain version history and can activate an earlier version if a release needs to be reversed.

A learner in an open session stays on that session’s version; new sessions use the active version. Test how saved progress behaves after a change, especially if you have rearranged lessons or changed an assessment. If different customers need different approved editions at the same time, manage those as separate course entries with explicit release decisions.

Central delivery reduces that repeated coordination. Your authors still revise the content, and your team still tests each release. It becomes easier to justify fixing a small problem when the fix does not also create a large delivery task.

Serve clients who want to use their own LMS

Your own LMS may work well for individual learners and smaller customers. Larger organizations often want your courses inside the system they use for enrollment, assignments, and learning records. Scoblade gives you a way to support that requirement alongside your existing training service.

Create a client record, assign the courses or collections they need, and supply a launcher for each course. Their administrator imports and tests those packages. The full course assets stay in Scoblade and are served through its CDN, so your team avoids sending the same large media files to every customer.

You can also use launchers in your own compatible LMS. That keeps the hosted course library and its updates in the same place for both delivery channels. Each LMS still owns its enrollment process and surrounding learner experience.

Connect course access to the customer agreement

A catalog subscription needs more than an expiry date in a spreadsheet. Scoblade lets you set licensing periods and limits based on learners or learner-and-course combinations. The client’s access can change as they add courses, expand a training program, or renew.

If a client no longer has access under an active license, future launches are refused. An already running session can finish. You can manage that decision centrally without depending on the customer to uninstall a course.

Usage and completion reports give account managers something concrete to discuss at renewal. They can identify courses the client uses regularly, courses with little activity, and questions worth raising with the training team. Low usage is a reason to investigate; it does not tell you on its own whether the content, assignment process, or timing is responsible.

Give support and client reviews a shared set of records

When a customer reports a failed completion or a course that will not load, asking for screenshots is often only the beginning. Scoblade brings session records and available diagnostics into the same platform as the course and client details.

Depending on capture settings, your team can review browser information, errors, LMS calls, and performance timings. Learning reports include the completion, score, time, and interactions the course sends. That helps narrow an investigation before asking the client to repeat a long series of checks.

CSV exports also give you a practical basis for customer reviews without collecting a different report from every LMS. Choose the records relevant to that client and agree how learner information will be used and shared. Completion data can support your training records, but accreditation and compliance requirements still need their own review.

Start with a representative customer

Choose a course you update regularly and a client willing to test delivery with you. Check launch, resume, score, and completion in their LMS. Then try an update and review the resulting records before moving a larger part of the catalog.

Existing full packages must be replaced during the transition; Scoblade cannot take control of copies already distributed. Account for that initial work, the ongoing subscription, and your continuing testing needs when estimating the benefit.
